MailGoose README

MailGoose is an off-line mailer package for people who use nail, PINE,
elm, Emacs mail mode, or other simple email software. It is particularly
useful for laptop users. You can browse the URLs of your mail spool,
mbox, or copy of an email message, create an offline draft reply of an
email message, edit your drafts in your favorite editor, create a new
message, or send all pending drafts. Think of MailGoose as the useful
bells and whistles of the big email clients made available to the
discriminating console-mode hacker.

Installation is described in the INSTALL file.

The editor and directories are set in mg's CONSTS dictionary. The
user-settings file (also set there) is ~/.mgrc. To make pico your
editor, use the line "EDITOR:pico" in the settings file.

Entering "mg" at the command line alone should give you sufficient
help. Bitch at me if it doesn't.
